Project: Illustrated City Map Posters

About These Projects:
Over the past few years, I’ve realized two things:

First, Birmingham is bursting with places worth exploring and there wasn’t a map to highlight them.

Second, I absolutely love drawing maps.

Here are two variations of The Magic City by Map.

The first was created to showcase some of Birmingham’s most vibrant spots. The second was a commissioned anniversary gift from a local to his wife, illustrating how the city’s neighborhoods connect, where the roads intersect, and a few of their favorite hidden corners.
